Summer break, while fun, is notorious for breaking routines. This is especially true for children. How can you get your children back into the swing of things before school starts? As a little preparation can go a long way, take a look at these tips to get your children, and you, back-to-school ready:
Get your kids back on a regular sleep schedule
Shop for school supplies - and don’t forget an agenda!
Set a routine - and stick to it!
Organize backpack & supplies
Set goals for the school year (other than good grades)
Designate a study space for your children
Keep a family calendar to organize holidays/activities. Take this one step further by using a color coding system to match family member to activity.

The back-to-school shopping season is fast-approaching. While you don't have to get started quite yet, you can start making a list - do your children need new notebooks? A new backpack? Etc. If you are short on time, try something different – shop online and pick up your order at the curb. Not only will this save you time, but it may also save you some money. What businesses offer this service? Target and Walmart. Take it one step further and order your supplies on Amazon and have them shipped directly to your doorstep. If you have Prime, shipping is free.
