4th of July Events Around Richland and Gull Lake


Everyone’s favorite red, white and blue holiday is nearly here! Do you have any festive plans this 4th of July? Just because it falls on a Wednesday, doesn't mean you can't have a little fun. With that in mind, here are some patriotic 4th of July events around Richland and Gull Lake for a festive Independence Day with your friends and family:


Events are all on July 4, 2018, unless otherwise specified.

Time: The parade starts at 11 a.m.

The parade starts downtown on M-89 near the Middle School and concludes at Gracespring Bible Church on Gull Road. After the parade, head over to the park for the Gull Lake Area Lions Club Chicken BBQ Fundraiser!

Time: The game starts at 7:05 PM.

Come out for the game and stick around for fireworks! Firework shows are shot directly from centerfield to provide an up-close amazing display.

Cost: A ticket to the game is required for entry into the ballpark.

Date: June 30th

Time: Racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

Family fun activities: stunts, mayhem, monster trucks, bus races, trailer races, plus a huge firework display!

Cost: General admission fees are $20 adults, $10 kids 6 to 12, and kids 5 and under are free.

Dates: June 30th (Rain date July 1st) and July 4th (No rain date)

Time: Dusk

The two incredible firework shows are more than 15 minutes long (one of the largest in the State of Michigan) and will feature a low show and a high show choreographed to Patriotic Music along with some pop, rock and country.

Cost: Admission is $10 and parking is $5.
